Comment 39 for bug 335297

Reinstalling from the alpha 5 cd and dist-upgrading directly to -11 fixed the issue for me. And I no longer need to boot with i8042.nopnp for the keyboard/mouse to work. Weird, perhaps a problem applying one of the intermediate updates.
