Comment 61 for bug 249340

I have also had this problem (makes Gutsy -> Hardy a pain), with exactly the same symptoms and solution.

As it seems that the problem is well documented, and there is a work-around, why is this bug still marked "Incomplete" ? Is there any file one of us can add to this bug report to help reproduce it ?
Or is there any chance that a code analysis between 2.6.22.14 (good) and 2.6.22.15 (bad) may give pointers to the race condition ?
