I had this problem also with Ubuntu Oneiric Ocelot 11.10 and with Ubuntu Natty Narwhal 11.04, but with Natty the problem was not so bad because it was very rare. For this card exists an open source driver. Why the driver is so bad for three Ubuntu versions?
