Comment 22 for bug 919350

Hi,

I'm also having this bug.
The screen blanks out directly after grub loads the kernel.

My PC is a HP EliteBook 8440p, with the graphic card on the Intel cpu chip (or something like that).
32bit Ubuntu 11.10.
