No, what i wanna do is cop and paste a serial of cells from calc to writer,
So i first create an empty table in writer, and i want to put in that table
data from calc. But when i try to copy a table of data from calc and paste
that data into the table i've creates in writer i've got a table as an
object pasted in the middle of the empty table. ¿How can i put the data from
calc to writer in a presentable table?
My ubuntu version is gutsy gibbon

Thanks

When I copy something from calc to writer in openoffice 2.3.1 at least
it ends up embedding a spreadsheet object. Is that what it is doing for
you? When you see it copy it all into one cell if you move the item it
pasted down below the table area and double click on it does it show
that it is a spreadsheet object? If it doesn't then what version of
Ubuntu and OpenOffice are you running?

I think this 'bug' is actually the intended behavior, depending on what
it actually does on your system. At least the results on my machine
running Ubuntu Hardy seems to be intended behavior.

Thanks,

Chris Cheney
