Whenever the opacity is changed on an object that object vanish. This occurs on my laptop (Intel HD Graphics 620) and on my office desktop (NVIDIA GP108)

This appears to be a problem only with the repository version - I have removed the repository version and installed both version 5.7 and 5.8 directly from the ParaView website and both versions correctly rendered the change in opacity.
