Bug Description
Binary package hint: qbankmanager
In maverick, "LANG=de_DE qbankmanager" always showed the german translation in the program.
The version contained in natty doesn't (always english text); the console shows
3:2011/05/07 17-53-40:
"dpkg -L qbankmanager | grep de" seems to indicate that the needed files are there:
/usr/share/
/usr/share/

Well, two weeks have passed. Should the package maintainer still roam among the living, the following might interest her or him:
Using strace, I found that qbankmanager looks for
/usr/ share/aqbanking /i18n/de. qm
and not for the above mentioned
/usr/ share/qbankmana ger/i18n/ de.qm
. Using a symlink I could circumvent the problem. But: the file de.qm contains only english text, instead of the german translation. So the "no translation found" error vanishes, but the interface is still english.
If the package maintainer needs any support or help, I'd be happy to provide it if I can.
If I was frustrated I could just go ahead and compile everything myself from upstream, but that wouldn't help Ubuntu would it?
