Confirm this behavior also on 2.0.0.0 (20070326) on Win XP SP2, on various independent IMAP server implementations.

A fetch of (UID RFC822.SIZE BODY.PEEK[]) is just an IMAP idiom to get everything. Asking for BODY.PEEK (instead of BODY) just tells the server not to clear the "unread" flag.

This behavior definitely comes from the bayesian antispam implementation, since turning that off changes heavily the network traffic shape.
