This is one of the most annoying bugs I have found when using XFCE. Whenever I copy a big file (e.g., MKV 8GB file) from a disk to another, I have to move Thunar out of the destination folder. Otherwise, it keeps trying to update the thumbnail every second, completely collapsing I/O bandwidth.
