Comment 2 for bug 736487

There is some progress with Natty and kernel 2.6.39-rc5 (kernel ppa builds). With radeon and its framebuffer I am able to switch to tty2 and back to tty1 and then I am able to enter the password. I am not sure if this workaround works also with mainline Natty kernel because I had some unrelated issue with that version, but I think it should work too. Unfortunately, I haven't tested another framebuffer drivers and/or different configuration.
