Bug Description
Binary package hint: xournal
I'm using Xournal to export my school notes to PDF to then be displayed on my desktop windows machine and my pdf viewer on my iPhone. I've noticed that the inkings show perfectly but the text does not display. I could see the text on the windows machine as soon as Xournal was installed which makes no sense to me but I still cannot display the text on my phone and now I can't see the text on my netbook either. I'm convinced the bug is somewhere in Xournal or possibly the fonts? Thanks, Anthony Hurst.

Hi Anthony,
This issue has been mentioned elsewhere. I'm hoping it gets resolved, but another user suggested a workaround that I have been using successfully for a long time.
Rather than use the built-in "export to pdf" feature, use the "print to pdf" selection from the printer dialog (this is a common feature in many distros, so it should work on yours).
