Dell XPS 13 + Fresh 13.04:
Black screen almost every time ... for month.

1) Log in to the console.
2) sudo /etc/init.d/lightdm restart && logout
3) Enter the password for the third time. I did it!

I guess I have to remove lightdm and fire up 'startx' from the console instead for more comfort. ;)
