Facing the exactly the same issue, nm-applet works but wicd doesn't. The weird thing it was working fine a few hours ago but now it won't connect. It keeps on displaying the same message repetitively 'bad password' when the password is fine
on ubuntu 10.04.2 wicd latest ?
