Running Wifix results in WARNING: All config files need .conf: /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper, it will be ignored in a future release.

Likely same as lp Bug #340873

Probably a bug in ndiswrapper rather than Wifix itself but Wifix uses ndiswrapper as almost a component to accomplish its work, so filing a Wifix bug as well.

ndiswrapper changelog says:
Version 1.56 2010-02-10
* Use /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper.conf, not /etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper.
