Not reproduced with current stable Inkscape 0.91 r13725 on OS X 10.7.5, with XQuartz 2.7.7.
Could you please attach a sample test case (SVG file) which exposes this behavior, as well as attach Inkscape's preferences file (see Inkscape menu 'Edit > Preferences > System > User preferences' for the exact name and location of the file) to the bug report to allow further investigation?
Related questions:
- Does the issue persists after a reboot of the system?
- Does it affect other user accounts as well? (e.g. the Guest account)?
- Does hiding Inkscape's rulers (see Inkscape menu 'View > Show/Hide > Rulers') have any effect on the perceived performance lag?
