Are you asking for more decimal places for various spinboxes, e.g. X, Y, Height, and Width fields on Selection tool control bar? Because those already have 3 decimal places. (When units are change to inches, the 3rd place is thousandths.)
Or are you talking about the Measurement tool display? Or something else?
(Not that I could ever actually help with programming, but just to clarify what you want, and just my curiosity.)
