Pressing "h" hides the window

Bug Description

I don't know if vnc4server is to blame, but:

1. $ sudo apt-get install vnc4server
2. $ vnc4server
3. VNC to the machine on :1
4. Try typing anything that has an "h" in it!
5. Window is minimised. Whole setup is useless.

Some default setting somewhere is making the entire package completely useless, unless you can manage to type commands without an "h" character.

Installed RCN build of 14.04 on BBB, added gnome-desktop, tightvncserver. At first, plain gray screen with X cursor in VNC. Edited .vnc/xstartup per http://askubuntu.com/questions/475023/how-to-make-vnc-server-work-with-ubuntu-desktop-without-xfce.

Now works, except 's' and 'd' are always shortcuts to system menu and minimize all. So it isn't just vnc4 or 13.10...

Same problem here using Ubuntu Server 14.04 LTS + vnc4server. Besides 's' and 'd', I also have 'h'hiding (minimizing) each window in focus.

Actually, I found the source of the problem. Ubuntu has defined some shortcuts using "SUPER + <letter>". "SUPER" is related to the super key in Windows (Windows Logo key) and the command key in OS X (the twisted wired symbol key).

After changing the setting for the shortcuts, the keyboard letters got back to normal.

In my Gnome GUI, I went to Applications -> System Tools -> System Settings -> Keyboard and then tab Shortcuts.

Not so sure if the problem is in vnc4server. I used tightvnc and had the same problem. Maybe is something in Gnome GUI.
